Redactle is a word-guessing game where players take on the role of a newspaper editor and are tasked with finding the subject of a hidden article. The article is a random Wikipedia article with almost all the words in the article masked, making it a challenging game to play. The player must guess words that may be related to the topic of the article, and each correctly guessed word will be shown on the right side of the screen and simultaneously fill in all the blanks where the word was originally placed in the article. The game stops when the player finds the correct subject of the article. The game has an unlimited version, allowing players to practice and play one after another without limitations.
How to play Redactle
Here are the controls and steps to play Redactle:
Controls:
- Type your guessed word into the "Guess" box in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Click the "Guess" button or press "Enter" to submit your guess.
- Use the "Clear" button to remove any letters in the "Guess" box.
Steps:
- The game will present you with a random Wikipedia article with almost all the words in the article masked.
- Your task is to find the subject of the article by guessing related keywords.
- Each correctly guessed word will appear on the right side of the screen and fill in all the blanks where the word was originally placed in the article.
- Once you have guessed enough words, you can try to guess the subject of the article.
